On occasion it has been noted that we at L’Onglex are prone to a drop of the black stuff. Apart from the fact it accentuates the hairs on our top lips  we never let the opportunity pass for a drop or two here and there and if we can get an oyster or three to go with it we pretty much call that a result.

Now, whilst we don’t expect you to find our bar habits of particular interest it seems that the good people at Nars have created their very own mixer by way of a collaboration with designer extraordinaire Daphne Guinness.

Yup, for this AW10 collection Nars and Daphne Guinness have created a collection of make-up based on the idea of thirties Hollywood glamour and added a modern futuristic twist.

The collection features mangrove yellow shadows, blushers in pinks and browns and a very, very, very rouge lipstick which teams with an iconic purple Nars shadow named after none other than the erstwhile heiress !

How easy it will be to recreate those amazing purple eyes we are as yet in the dark but as soon as we get hold of some we will of course let you know. The collection is hits counters on August 1st.
