Preening our pinkies with polish from the No 7 Stay Perfect collection has been keeping us busy on the nail front this week and we’ve got loads of new swatches to try.
This particular shade of grey we picked up at from Boots some time last week and although we’ve found some of the No7 polishes to be a touch runny (we’re looking at you Vivid Violet) we like this one so in the blog it is !
The Night Silver paints easily with a pretty smooth formula although it did take ages to dry. This would not normally present a headache but we seem to have managed to run out of Sally Hansen Insta-Dry topcoat.
Further complicating the matter is that I can’t decide whether this would be better for a glam night out or sort of around the office type nail wear. I know there are bigger problems in the world than drying my nails, and bigger decisions to be made than where to wear a particular colour, but it feels nice to share the dilemma.

Thus we begin another brand in our eternal quest for the perfect colour – this time it’s Boots.
On the downside – If you’ve only got five minutes to spare and are looking to head out with a perfectly presented pair of purply paws this No7 is going to present you with something of a pickle.
On the upside – Boots No7 Stay Perfect is about as purple as you can get and we love it. As polishes go it was a bit thin and as such not really that easy to get on in a neat way. But we do love the colour and it wasn’t too expensive.
