Small trilogy miracles

May 17th, 2010
If like us the changeable weather has been playing havoc with your skin, you may be interested in the wonder product currently doing the rounds at Longlex HQ.
Hailed as a must have product by the likes of Vogue, Marie Claire and Irelands very own Beaut.ie, Trilogys Organic Rosehip Oil has come up trumps in the battle against dry skin and has been busy improving complextions around the office all the week.
The oil is made up of 80% fatty acids which means it’s also an effective cure for scared tissue, dry eczema and sunburn. We’ve been keeping a bottle in our coat pocket to combat those awkward dry skin flair ups, under the pillow for the odd bit of intensive night treatment and were it not for the plumes of volcanic ash currently laying waste to our holiday plans we’d have a bottle in the beach bag on standby for lobster skin !
A 20ml bottle will set you back €22 but seen as two to three drops seem to be more than enough to work those minor skin miracles a little seems to go a long way.

small acts of Trilogy kindness

March 4th, 2010
As you probably know the awkward bit between the end of winter and the begining of spring is now upon us so it’s no wonder that delicate skin can start to look a bit jaded this time of year.
It might be because things look worse with the extra sunlight or it might just be that winter is pretty rough for the skin routine but whatever way you look at it this time of year is about as bad as it gets. Casting a curious eye on my poor hands I began to look around and I managed to get my hands on the cult new zealand brand trilogy. Being as I’m fast developing some kind of weird fetish for natural products I’m not sure why I didn’t pick up on Trilogy a lot sooner.
I’ve been dunking my beauty biscuits in the everything balm which so far has turned out to be about as kind as you can get, and if theres one thing we love at L’Onglex it’s small acts of skin kindness. Once I’d smothered the my chapped hands I moved onto the rest and before I knew it I was pretty much covered in beeswax, rosehip oil, Olive and whatever greeny goodness they put in the tub. It’s getting the big thumbs up at the moment and whilst I’m not quite betrothed just yet I think we can safely assume we’ll be going steady for a while longer.

It might just be because things look worse with the extra sunlight, or it might just be that winter is pretty rough for the skin routine, but whatever way you look at it this time of year is about as bad as it gets.

Casting a curious eye on my poor hands I began to look around sharpish for something to repair the damage and I managed to get my mitts on the Everthing Balm by cult new zealand brand trilogy. Being as I’m fast developing some kind of weird fetish for completely natural products I’m not sure why I didn’t pick up on Trilogy a lot sooner.

Having now dunked nearly all my beauty biscuits I can report that so far, the balm has turned out to be about as kind as you can get – and if theres one thing we love at L’Onglex it’s small acts of skin kindness. Once I’d smothered the my dry hands I moved onto the rest and before I knew it I was pretty much covered in beeswax, rosehip oil, Olive and whatever greeny goodness they put in the tub.
